How to clean moss on pavers. Clear moss and weed growth. The moss should die in a week or two. Scrub the moss away with a scrub brush. The frequency of cleaning will depend on how much mold mildew or moss there is and how often it comes back.
If the surface allows use a putty knife to remove the moss. Applications may need to be repeated for especially moldy areas. Repeat the spray down every couple of days or after it rains. Other times this could be done once a year for a spring cleaning every season.
Leave it overnight and then use a push broom or deck brush to first remove the baking soda and then to scrub the area to remove the moss. Rinse the area with a hose or a bucket of water to wash the loosened moss. Gently pull weeds out in between paver joints. Spray the bleach mixture onto the moss then scrub briskly with the wire brush to remove it.
Mix 1 part chlorine bleach and 10 parts water into a clean garden sprayer if any moss remains. Rinse the pavers well with the garden hose. Allow the vinegar to sit for five to 10 minutes. The moss should scrub off with water if you do not want to use a pressure washer.
Use a stiff bristled handheld brush or brush broom to agitate and brush away any moss growth on or in between pavers. It is also possible that you ll have to use a scraper for addressing the really stubborn areas. Mix well and then spray or pour onto the pavers. Sweep the pavers after your area is dry you may be able to remove a lot of the algae or moss using a deck brush or a push broom with stiff bristles.
Leave to sit for 30 minutes. Add a little detergent for a super clean finish. Step 3 scrape off the moss. Remove moss tip 7.
When all of the organic growth has been loosened brush the debris off of your paved surface. Make sure that you coat every surface with the spray so that the moss begins to die. Pressure wash the area.
