How to use ladder jacks. Walk up the ladder to the height you require a platform. Install the ladder jacks. Follow instructions provided with platforms and ladders. Lower the ladder jack until the lower leg sits on a second ladder rung.
Position jacks on either front or back of ladder. Place the top arm of the ladder jack over one rung of the first ladder with the plank arm facing away from the building. Secure top and bottom of ladder to prevent movement before attaching ladder jacks. Two or three rung bracket ladder jack devices over the rungs only this style of ladder jacks hook directly onto two or three ladder rungs.
Above 10 feet you must use a harness. The planking is then placed on top of the brackets to create a work platform. If the planks are in front have another ladder available for access. Never use ladder jacks higher than 20 feet.
